What is Smart Pricing?

Smart Pricing is our newest mass message feature that helps you set unique prices for individual fans based on a range that you set.

Why should I use Smart Pricing?

Getting the price right is key to getting fans to make purchases. Smart Pricing can help adjust the price for each fan, making it more likely they'll buy when you send out mass messages.

Turn On Smart Pricing:

If you want to use Smart Pricing, you need to select Smart Pricing as you set up your Mass Messages. You’ll notice the Smart Pricing button next to the Pay to View toggle in the Mass Message set up flow.

• Tap “Mass Message”
• Toggle on Pay to View, and check the box next to “Smart Pricing”

Set the Price Range of Your Choice:

You select a minimum and maximum price, and our tool will make sure to only send fans prices between the amount you set. The minimum price must be set to at least $5 and the maximum price that you can set is at most $200. The difference between the minimum price and maximum price must be at least $25.

• For the best results avoid setting an excessively large range, and try using the following ranges:
  • $5-$30
  • $30-$60
  • $65-$100
  • $100+
• Tip: You know your fans best! Since it’s easier to go down than up, make sure the minimum is something you’re comfortable with.

Scheduling a Mass Message with Smart Pricing

• We currently don’t allow mass messages to be scheduled with smart pricing! This is coming soon 🙂

How to Check Price Distribution:

We highly recommend monitoring your analytics and to adjust your price range as you play around with our Smart Pricing tool. We’ve made it super easy for you to know how your mass message performed in our Analytics page.

• Navigate to your Analytics page from Creator Tools and look for the mass message you sent using Smart Pricing
• Click More Info to open the detailed analytics page for that specific message, and tap Statistics in that pop-up to view even more info about the message you sent

You are able to view both the distribution of prices that were sent out to fans, and the most common purchase price so that you can optimize your pricing. Feel free to try out Smart Pricing today!
